Herne Bay Vet Is Moving

Herne Bay Vet Is Moving

We’re joining forces with our sister clinic, Auckland Pet Hospital

A New Location,
same Friendly Faces

As of 2nd June, Herne Bay Vet Clinic will become part of Auckland Pet Hospital — around 5 minutes down the road in Ponsonby. You’ll still see Dr Steve, Dr Heather, and other familiar team members. We’re excited to continue caring for your pets in a modern, fully equipped space with extended hours, better parking, and more appointment availability.

Why Auckland Pet Hospital?

  • 2km from Herne Bay Vet (around a 5 min drive)
  • Off-street parking via Williamson Ave
  • Open Monday to Saturday
  • Extended team of experienced vets and nurses
  • General practice and advanced medical care under one roof
  • Your pet’s records are already there — no extra steps needed!

Meet Your Vets — Old Friends, New Address

You can still book with the vets you know and trust—Dr Steve Mirams and Dr Heather—alongside APH’s expert team: Dr Alex (Lead Vet), Dr Vicki, Dr Rebecca, and Dr Hannah.

“We’re bringing our care, compassion, and love of animals with us — just to a different building. It’s been a privilege to serve you at Herne Bay, and I look forward to welcoming you to our new home at Auckland Pet Hospital.”
— Dr Steve Mirams, Lead Vet
