Dr Steve Mirams

Dr Steve Mirams is a highly experienced veterinary surgeon and over the course of his career Dr Steve has worked as a mixed-animal veterinarian in Rotorua and also owned his own practice in Wellington for over a decade. He has been a consulting vet at Wellington Zoo but over the last 15 years has been a locum vet here in Auckland. In addition to this, Dr Steve is an International Animal Safety Representative for the American Humane organization as part of their “No Animals were Harmed” program.

Dr Steve has an adult son based in London, an elderly Shih Tzu and two less than well-behaved Burmese/Ragdolls. In his spare time, Dr Steve can be seen hitting the local golf course and is more than happy to chat all things golf related during his consults.
